Grade of Piles
Piles (Haemorrhoids)
Prolapse (come out) during bowel movement but go back inside on their own. Symptoms include pain, bleeding, and swelling.
Piles - Grade 1
Small swellings inside the rectum. They do not come out (prolapse) and may cause itching, discomfort, or minor bleeding.
Piles - Grade 2
Prolapse (come out) during bowel movement but go back inside on their own. Symptoms include pain, bleeding, and swelling.
Piles - Grade 3
Prolapse during bowel movement and need to be pushed back inside manually. Cause more discomfort, pain, and irritation.
Piles - Grade 4
Permanently prolapsed piles that cannot be pushed back inside. They are often painful, swollen, and may require surgery.
